Labor is powerful; but with a doula by your side so are you!
What is a doula?
A doula is a trained professional who provides non-medical physical, emotional, and informational support before, during, and after childbirth. Doulas don’t replace medical providers (like doctors or midwives); instead, they focus on comfort, advocacy, and continuous support.
Like a best friend, a doula’s main job is to support you. , not to judge or make decisions for you.
Doulas provide Emotional support – They listen, reassure you when you’re nervous, and help you feel less alone during big, sometimes overwhelming moments.
A Calm presence – Just like a best friend who knows how to ground you, a doula helps you stay calm and confident when things feel intense.
Encouragement – They remind you of your strength and help you trust yourself, the same way a best friend would.
Knows you personally – A doula gets to know your preferences, fears, and goals, so their support feels personal, not clinical.
Here through the hard parts – Whether things are uncomfortable, stressful, or emotional, a doula sticks with you and doesn’t leave when it gets tough.
A Doula can make all the difference.

(AR currently ranks 47th MO is ranked 37th)
